I thought I'd try some concept art so I drew this future soldier battle armor type thing. It started with a pencil sketch and I colored it in photoshop.

This is a nice little piece here, his armor is pimpin, and I really like the glowey blue part on his chest, gives that effect of heat and energy that is inside the suit.

I don't know. I mean, it's all coool, but in body proportions it looks like if he was encaged inside the breastplate, and the arms were completely mechanic. But in another way in drawing we can make whatever we want within forms...

heh i would have guns on the arms but dang, that some heavy looking armor. looks like his arms don't reach all the way down the arms.

Could have a inner-arm lining of sorts. Have his organic arm running down the inside of the mechanical arm. Legs could only go half way maybe? If ya look at the black, inner section of the right side you can speculate thats where his hand could be controlling the arm. Plus, when looking at the shoulders, you could again speculate that thats just extra armor over the joint. >.> I like mechs... <.<

Yeah, it maybe. Like starcraft 2's marines suit, gauntless are extensions of the arms and the joint on the elbow is in fact the arm base. It sounds cool!

Exactly. Sort of like how the Iron Monger suit worked in the Iron Man comics. <.< And yea, I am a comic book geek too. Mech, guns, comics, computers. lol

You know what it needs? A GUN! large mechanized arms require large scale gun!

<.<; No one... And as for the weapon idea, aye. If you go arm mounted, it'll have to be a plasma cannon of some sort. Hand-carry, maybe a 2-hand chaingun, similar to Vulcan Raven, but instead of the drum on his back, could have a mini-reactor of some design.

There should be a Rocket/Missile launcher. Or a practical assault rifle as SC marines.

I bet for Missile/Rocket launchers. That' armor is huge so a heavy weapon for it could works!

I don't know, firearm should addapt to armor to make it maneurable, something like an arm gun expansion. Hell, this looks like R&D!
